Plant named his desired opponent

Former world super middleweight champion Caleb Plant announced that he wants to fight his next fight against the WBC title holder in the middle division Jermala Charlo.

“Everything has worked out well and I’m trying to get a fight with Charlo. This is what we want next. I don’t need a warm-up fight to get into this fight. It doesn't matter that I had a short break. I want this fight next.

It’s not hard to fight me, I’m not hard to find. I didn’t see anything exciting in Charlo’s fight with Jose Benavidez. He stepped into the ring against a much smaller guy and settled his affairs.

Charlo did his job, he won. I'm glad he won. I wished him to win so we could have a fight. Again, I wasn't overly impressed or anything, but I'm glad he won. Our fight must take place,” Plant said.
