Deiveson Figueredo, former UFC flyweight champion, spoke about a possible fight with the organization's current bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley.
“Sean O’Malley is an excellent striker, but I believe in my team and our strategy. I train with Henry Cejudo, one of the best in the division and a very smart guy. I do a lot of BJJ - I'm a real grappler. I prefer to fight in a standing position and I like to cut myself to pieces. I definitely would have a great fight against Sean O'Malley. If I had fought him and we ended up on the ground, I would have finished him off,” said the fighter.
Let us remind you that Figueredo made a successful debut in the bantamweight division, winning at UFC On ESPN 52 against Rob Font.
