Cormier spoke about the main regret in his career

Former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier regrets his decision to hang up his gloves in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

“The way I left was terrible. This is one of my biggest regrets in life. Jon Anik (commentator - approx.) kept telling me: “When I commentated on your last fight at Apex, and there were empty stands around, I felt that it was wrong.” To have a career like that and end it like that is a real disappointment,” Cormier said on The MMA Hour.

Let us remember that Cormier decided to retire from the sport after losing to Stipe Miocic in August 2020.
