Aspinall: "The family didn't care that I beat Pavlovich"

Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall told how his loved ones reacted to the victory over Sergei Pavlovich.

Let us remind you that on November 12 at the UFC 295 tournament, the Briton knocked out the Russian in the first round.

“I called my eldest son after the press conference. He didn’t know yet that I had won because he had just woken up. He asked, “How was the fight?” I replied: “I won.” “So now you’ve become a champion?” continued the son. “Yes,” I answered proudly. And he says: “Oh, great. And yesterday they bought me a new book.”

I love it. When I returned home, no one cared that I had defeated Pavlovich. Everyone was just glad that dad was home. We haven’t even discussed this fight,” Aspinall said in an interview with Fight Disciples.
