Undefeated mixed martial arts fighter Khamzat Chimaev remembered how he received an offer to sign a contract with the UFC.
“This was during that difficult coronavirus year. All halls were closed. Nothing happened. I worked as a security guard, but found time to train daily. I was already thinking: “What should I do next?” because the world had just gone crazy, and then the manager called me.
He says: “The UFC wants to sign you.” I answer: “Listen, don’t joke with me.” And he says: “I’m not joking.” Come to the hotel." I arrived and really see that there is a contract there. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I’m already desperate, but here’s a chance,” MMA Mania quotes Chimaev.
