Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jiri Prochazka announced his readiness to become the next opponent of the undefeated middleweight Khamzata Chimaeva.
The other day, Chimaev asked the promotion management to organize a fight for him with Alex Pereira, who on November 12 at the UFC 295 tournament knocked out Prochazka and took the championship title.
“It’s my pleasure to welcome you to the light heavyweight division,” Prochaska told Chimaev at X.
Let us remind you that Chimaev last performed on October 21 at the UFC 294 show, winning a not-so-impressive majority decision victory over Kamaru Usman.
