Former UFC middleweight champion, British Michael Bisping revealed what advice he gave to his compatriot Tom Aspinall right before the start of the fight for the interim heavyweight title with the Russian Sergei Pavlovich.
“Before going to the fight, Tom asked me: “Do you have any last advice for me?”
I simply responded, “Listen, the Octagon is very big. Use all the space." And then he added, “Just be yourself. You don't need my advice. Just go out and do what you've been doing your whole life. Believe in yourself, in your training, in the work you have done. Believe in yourself, and everything will be fine,” Bisping said in the latest episode of his YouTube channel.
Let us remember that on November 12 at UFC 295, Aspinall knocked out Pavlovich in the first round.
