Aljamain Sterling, a former UFC bantamweight champion, was tested by the Performance Institute to evaluate his potential as a featherweight. After this test, the fighter stated that he was leaning towards this division.
“Checked my weight, body fat ratio and all that stuff. It turns out that I am quite similar to a standard sized featherweight. I also tested my strength and endurance and now I am more confident about a potential move up to the featherweight division. Next week I will check myself again. But “right now I’m definitely leaning towards featherweight,” the fighter said.
