Usik: “After our victory, I will definitely organize a fight in Kyiv”
Unified World Heavyweight Champion Alexander Usik said that after the inevitable victory of Ukraine over the Russian Federation, he plans to hold a fight in Kyiv.
“Now we cannot do this because there is a war going on in our country. But after our victory, I will definitely organize a fight at the Olympic Stadium in Kyiv in order to please my native audience and every Ukrainian who comes to the arena.
For me personally, there is a huge motivation and gratitude to those guys who defend our country. When I talk to them on the phone, I see their faces, I see their smiles, I see their emotions when they shout: “Yes, victory!” You know, when I box, my whole country wins, all those who support me,” Usyk said in an interview with Boxing on TNT Sports.
