The World Boxing Council (WBC) announced at its annual meeting in Tashkent that it was suspending cooperation with the statistical website Boxrec.com until it began classifying fighters at bridge weights.

The weight category up to 101 kilograms was created three years ago. BoxRec has not yet created its bridger weight classification, and fighters boxing in this weight range are not included in their rankings.

The WBC sent a formal request to Boxrec to adjust the ratings based on the applicable weight categories and suspended cooperation with the site until the request is fulfilled.
