“All my friends are in prison, many of them for life.” Kazakh MMA star spoke about his difficult childhood

The famous Kazakh MMA fighter, ex-UFC fighter Zhalgas Zhumagulov spoke about his difficult childhood. According to “Jaco”, at the moment all his friends are in prison, having received long sentences.

“Until I was 13, I studied well. We lived in a crime-ridden area, my father did not work. He then went missing and left. When my father was there, I studied well, and when he disappeared, I told my mother that I was free. It was hard for her; she worked two jobs. It wasn’t up to me. She had a dream for me to finish my studies. But I completed eight grades, and I was expelled from all schools. Didn't get anywhere.

I was constantly fighting, and I understood that I wouldn’t get anywhere. That’s why I got married early: I told my mother that if I don’t get married, I definitely won’t change. Because all my friends are in prison, many of them for life, some for eighteen years, some for fifteen. You could say that I’m the only one left among my friends who is free.”
