Aspinall practically did not prepare for the fight with Pavlovich due to injury

Tom Aspinall, interim UFC heavyweight champion, after a fight with Sergei Pavlovich reported that he practically did not prepare for this confrontation because he was injured.

“I strained my back and, to be honest, I didn’t train at all. I was injured the same week when I found out about the fight against Sergei. And for a week and a half I didn’t study at all. I didn’t have a training camp at all. It was the wildest two weeks of my life. But I am always confident in my victory. Even if the circumstances are dire, I know I can knock out anyone,” the fighter said.

Let us remember that Aspinall took the fight with Pavlovich on short notice and eventually knocked him out in the first round.
