Brother of the WBC heavyweight title holder Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) Shane Fury explained why one of the heavyweight leaders performed poorly in a fight against Francis Ngannou (0-1).
“Look, it was a combination of many things. It was a combination of not fighting for 12 months and having his trainer around, trying to break bad habits he had developed over the last 10 months, and Ngannou being better than he expected.
If you look at it realistically, then perhaps this is Tyson now. I hope that's not the case, but ultimately he's 35 years old and people suddenly give up. I hope this doesn’t happen to Tyson because you saw how different he is in the gym. It's just heaven and earth. I hope he doesn’t find himself in such a situation,” Boxing Social quotes Shane.
Let us remind you that on October 28, Fury defeated Ngannou by split decision in the main event of the boxing evening in Saudi Arabia.
