Fury's manager: “Before the fight with Ngannou we were not allowed into the ring for 45 minutes”

Manager of the WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) Spencer Brown spoke about his problems before the fight with Francis Ngannou (0-1, 0 KO).

“We were kept in the corridor for 45 minutes before entering the ring. It's not an excuse, but you warm up, get ready, and then spend 45 minutes in the hallway because the dancers were performing on stage.

Perhaps Tyson overdid it. The night before we went to a championship dinner. Perhaps it's my fault, but a contract was signed with us. Ngannou was there too, but I’m responsible for that.

We wanted to start the fight earlier. It was very late in the evening, we were not used to it. Perhaps I should have prepared for this. But listen, Tyson is the consummate professional. In this fight we didn’t see the real Fury,” The Sun quotes the manager.

Let us remind you that on October 28, Fury defeated Ngannou by split decision, having been knocked down during the fight.
