Atlas worries about Fury's health ahead of Usyk fight

American coach Teddy Atlas commented on the fight between the WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury mixed martial arts star Francis Ngannou.

Let us remind you that last weekend Fury defeated Ngannou by split decision, having been knocked down at the request of the fight.

“At the beginning of the fight, I thought that Ngannou would win by knockdown. He shocked everyone, but then Fury recovered and started using his jab and landed some good right hands. Fury may have suffered a concussion from that blow to the head.

As a coach, I have only one concern. If Fury spends several training camps in a row, then he may overtrain and leave something in the gym. He needs strength to get through all this.

His coaches (and they are good coaches) will have to look into this issue. No one will say that Tyson should no longer get into the ring,” Atlas said.
