Israel Adesanya, a former UFC middleweight champion, spoke about his attitude towards boxing.
“Boxing as a sport is wonderful. Boxing as a business is corrupt beyond belief. For example... March 2015, I was fighting and was hit with illegal blows, but my opponent was not punished for this. I swing it and put it on the canvas, but it doesn’t protect me. Next, I hit him with a “Superman punch,” but I get a warning because my foot left the ground and it’s “illegal.” They must not know about David Tua’s jump with the left hook...” the fighter said.
