Gaethje expects to fight Makhachev in February or March

Top UFC lightweight who holds the BMF title, Justin Gaethje, told when he expects to fight with the organization’s lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.

“I have not yet negotiated with the UFC about a fight with Makhachev. However, I’m looking forward to a fight with Islam in February or March 2024. I’m preparing for exactly this situation,” said the fighter.

Let us remember that Gaethje previously said that he would not hold intermediate fights and would wait until he was given a title fight.
