Brunson explained his departure from the UFC to the PFL

American veteran middleweight Derek Brunson told why he decided to change promotions.

“One of the main reasons is the confidence that on the way to a title fight or a million dollars I won’t have to deal with any behind-the-scenes intrigue. If you win a certain number of fights, you get a million. That's all. They won’t tell you: “You didn’t perform the way we wanted.” You just win and move up the tournament grid,” MMA News quotes Brunson.

Let us remind you that Brunson will make his PFL debut on November 24, and his opponent will be Ray Cooper.
