Ruiz: “I don’t think Joshua’s team wants a third fight”

Former Unified World Heavyweight Champion Andy Ruiz (35-2, 22 KOs) believes that Anthony Joshua (26-3, 23 KOs) has no desire to have a third fight with him.

“I don’t think they want to fight. I think Eddie Hearn already has some bitter experience. He doesn't want Joshua to stand up to anyone good unless he's trying to get his money and call it quits.

Of course, I would agree to hold such a fight in the UK. Remember, when I fought him, I was overweight. I forgot what I did during the rematch.

I haven't fought for a long time. Many people don’t know the situation I found myself in and my problems. That's one of the reasons why I wanted to come here, to show my faith, and I'm ready to get back to fighting.

Next year I want to fight three or four times. We're still waiting for Wilder. I tell everyone that I never asked for $25 million. It's buulshit! Tell him to show me proof of where I told him I wanted $25 million,” Boxing Scene quoted Ruiz as saying.
