Mendoza: "I will write the story of Rocky in the real world"

Interim WBC junior middleweight champion Brian Mendoza shared his mood for the upcoming fight with the holder of a full WBO belt in the same division Tim Tszyu, which will take place on October 15th in Broadbeach, Australia.

“I will be writing my own Rocky story in the real world. When I started my career, I didn’t want to start like this. But in life there are ups and downs, and this is what we have to face. I have emerged from obscurity and am striving for greatness. I want the title.

It changes my life, it changes my family's life for future generations, the opportunities that I will have, so it literally means everything. It’s all or nothing,” Mendoza said at a news conference.
