Bader named the main motivation in his career

40-year-old Bellator heavyweight champion Ryan Bader said that at the end of his career, his main motivation is money.

“I’ve been through a lot of ups and downs. I held the light heavyweight title and won the heavyweight grand prix. This is hard to beat. I won against Emelianenko and have held the champion belt for a long time. So now the money factor is important to me. I earn serious money and want to continue earning even more.

I'm already 40 years old. I won't fight forever. I don't plan to perform for another four or five years. So there is still motivation. Earn, win, win titles. These two goals always go side by side,” MMA Fighting quotes the American as saying.

Let's remember that Bader was supposed to defend the belt against Linton Vassell this Sunday at Bellator 300, but the Briton withdrew due to illness.
