Brunson will join PFL

Derek Brunson

According to manager Ali Abdel-Aziz from Dominance MMA, Derek Brunson (23-9) has signed a contract with PFL and will join the promotion's $1 million Light Heavyweight Grand Prix set to begin in 2024.

Brunson, 39, left the UFC in September after 11 years in the organization. The American veteran was scheduled to fight Roman Dolidze at UFC 295 in November, but the fighter and the promotion unexpectedly announced the termination of his contract.

It's worth noting that in the PFL, Brunson's signing Bye not confirmed.
