Mauricio Sulaiman, president of the WBC, told how he feels about the world heavyweight champion according to WBA, WBO, IBF Alexander Usyk.
“Alexander Usyk is a very dear friend of the WBC and a friend of mine personally. The WBC firmly supports peace and Ukraine, and Usyk has become a national hero for his homeland throughout the world. Alexander will be remembered as one of the bravest heroes in the history of Ukraine. When the big war began, he was abroad, but returned home and took up arms...,” the functionary said.
