Alvarez explained why he lost to Mayweather

Absolute world champion in second middleweight Saul Alvarez remembered his defeat to the legendary conqueror of five divisions Floyd Mayweather.

“Floyd’s style would make it difficult for any fighter. He never takes risks, he doesn't put himself at great risk in any fight - that makes it very difficult. I think he overcame me that evening because of his experience. He has a lot of experience, but he is also a great boxer and he showed it. “He demonstrated why experience is so important in boxing,” Boxing Social quotes Alvarez as saying.

Let us remember that in 2013, Alvarez lost to Mayweather by majority decision.
