The Ring Magazine: Alvarez beats Charlo early

Saul Alvarez (59-2-2, 39 KOs) is the almost undisputed favorite among boxing experts in the fight for four belts in the super middleweight division with Jermell Charlo (35-1-1, 19 KOs), scheduled for Saturday.

In a poll conducted by The Ring magazine, some of the 20 experts surveyed predicted a close competition, but only one of them ultimately decided to bet on an American victory.

The triumph of Alvarez, who is also the bookmakers' favorite (average odds of 1.3), is predicted, among others, by Tom Gray, Sergio Mora, Ray Mancini and Chris Elgiery. 8 out of 20 experts predict that the Mexican will win early.
