Former UFC fighter Derek Brunson explained why the promotion's heavyweight champion John Jones will not share the octagon with the second number in the division rating Sergei Pavlovich.
“This guy is a serious contender with an 18-1 record. Insane power and sharp boxing. I don't think we'll see a fight between him and Jon Jones.
There is risk on one side and reward on the other. And Jones, I think, only wants loud posters. In the future I see a title fight between Sergey and Gun,” Brunson wrote in X.
Let us remind you that on November 11 at the UFC 295 tournament in New York, Jones will defend his belt from the attacks of Stipe Miocic. Pavlovich will insure this fight.
