Legendary American boxer Roy Jones told which of his opponents throughout his long and glorious career was his most difficult test.

“The toughest guy I’ve ever fought, I won’t lie, I’ll be honest, is James Toney. People can say what they want, but James was a beast.

When I fought Tony, his record was 44-0, it was not a game. He attacked everyone both inside and outside the ring. He was real, believe me,” Jones said in an interview with the RealLyfe Production YouTube channel.

Let us remind you that the fight between Jones and Tony took place in November 1994. Then Roy managed to win by unanimous decision and win the IBF super middleweight champion belt. Jones, like his opponent, approached this fight with no defeats on his record.
