Third duel between Alexa Grasso And Valentina Shevchenko makes no sense because trilogies are hurting the UFC women's flyweight division. At least that's what Erin Blanchfield thinks.
“I think I should be next in line for a title fight. Trilogies sometimes just clog up the division. Adding fresh blood helps a lot.
However, I heard that Manon Fioro will get her chance next. I could beat her if they do make the Shevchenko-Grasso trilogy. But overall, I want to be next,” Blanchfield said in an interview with The Schmo.
On September 17 at the UFC Fight Night 227 tournament, Grasso and Shevchenko fought to a draw. This result retained the Mexican championship title.
