UFC middleweight champion coach Sean Strickland Eric Niksik said that his ward is ready to make his first title defense in December.
“I don’t care who the opponent is. He came out of the fight with Adesanya without serious damage. He had an injured toe, but we don’t care about the injured toe. So he will return to training as soon as his stitches are removed. Let’s do something in December,” Niksik said in an interview with MiddleEasy.
Let us remember that on September 10 at the UFC 293 tournament, Strickland defeated Adesanya by unanimous decision and won the title.
