Cusumano caught doping after fight with Kovnacki

Joe Cusumano vs. Adam Kownacki

The presence of prohibited doping substances was found in the body Joe Cusumano (22-4, 20 KOs) during his June fight with Adam Kownacki (20-4, 15 KOs). This was announced by the promotional organization Matchroom Boxing.

Details of the American's positive doping test have not yet been disclosed. The fight ended with Kusumano's victory by technical knockout in the eighth round, but it is possible that the result of the fight will be annulled.

The American will now have to explain the presence of prohibited substances in his body and, probably, for some time he will lose his boxing license.
