Gennady Golovkin (42-2-1, 37 KOs) relinquished the IBF middleweight belt in February and the WBA title in March. After such a step, most boxing fans doubted that he would ever enter the ring again, but apparently the boxer from Kazakhstan wants to show himself to his compatriots for the last time.

After signing a professional contract, GGG performed only once in his homeland. At the end of 2010, he knocked out Nilson Julio Tapia in the third round. Next week will be one year since the last fight of one of the greatest middleweight champions in history.

The topic of Golovkin's next fight has risen again due to John Ryder (32-6, 18 KOs), who, like Golovkin, lost on points to Canelo in his last outing. And it was he who suggested that Triple G could box in Kazakhstan.

“I know that Golovkin said something about the fight in Kazakhstan. If this happens, I will be very happy to stand on the other side of the ring, I will do it with pleasure. I have no problem fighting in his country. Perhaps at the end of my career I will go on a small world tour: first Golovkin in Kazakhstan, then Caleb Plant in America and Jaime Munguia in Mexico. I will do it with pleasure. I have just returned to the gym and from October I will be ready for any test. Dreams don't change, I want to become a world champion and have the biggest fights possible," Ryder said.
