Tszyu-Mendoza October 15 in Australia

On October 15, Australia will host a fight between the interim WBO super welterweight champion Tim Tszyu (23-0, 17 KOs) and interim WBC champion in the same weight category Brian Mendoza (22-2, 16 KOs).

Tszyu will become the full champion of the World Boxing Organization in September after Jermella Charlo is stripped of the title.

In his last professional performance, Mendoza defeated Sebastian Fundora ahead of schedule. Previously, the American also defeated Jason Rosario.
