Shakur Stevenson to fight for WBC title in November

Bob Arum, head of promotional company Top Rank, said that Shakur Stevenson will fight for the WBC world lightweight champion belt in November of this year. The functionary also stressed that Shakur's rival would not be Vasily Lomachenko, who would not fight again this year.

“Will Shakur fight in November? Definitely. We are going to get the best opponent, he will fight for the WBC title...,” Arum said.

When asked what he thought about Stevenson's fight with Gervonta Davis, Arum replied that it was a good fight and that Shakur would definitely beat Tank.
