Terence Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs) said he was ready to move up three categories and fight the winner of the duel between Saul Alvarez (59-2-2, 39 KOs) and Jermell Charlo (35-1-1, 19 KOs).

The American was world champion in lightweight, light welterweight, and now welterweight. In the last two weight limits, he became the absolute champion, unifying all four championship belts. Now Crawford is ready to jump to the 76.2kg limit to face Canelo or Charlo on September 30th.

“People think it's all about weight and pounds, but I believe in pure boxing skills and technique. I have enough strength to make the opponent respect me, so the weight of the opponent does not bother me. I'm definitely going to gain weight. I just believe in my abilities. This is my era and no one can stop me. I'm ready to jump three divisions from welterweight to super middleweight to fight Charlo or Canelo. No one has ever been the absolute world champion in three different weight limits, that would be great. They have a duel at the end of September, so our duel could take place no earlier than next year. And that would give me time to put on weight properly,” Crawford said.
