On October 21, at the boxing evening from Golden Boy Promotions, organized in California, a fight will take place between the official contender for the WBO welterweight belt Alexis Rocha (23-1, 15 KOs) and Giovanni Santillan (31-0, 16 KOs).

This year, Rocha has already fought two professional fights, and the last time he boxed was in May. It is possible that the stake of this fight will be the belt of the interim champion of the World Boxing Organization.

Under contract with Top Rank, the 31-year-old Santillan returned to the ring in July after a nearly year-long hiatus, defeating Eric Bone via unanimous decision.
