Poirier set his sights on a third fight with Gaethje

Former Interim UFC Lightweight Champion Dustin Poirier announced on his social networks his intention to complete the trilogy with another former owner of this title Justin Gaethje.

“We need to get back as soon as possible. Our score with Justin is 1:1, let's complete the trilogy in New Orleans. I had the first fight on his territory, let the third one take place in my backyard, ”Poirier wrote.

It is worth noting that so far there are no tournaments in New Orleans in the UFC schedule, however, at the moment, the promotion has not announced all the events in November and December.

Recall that the first fight between Poirier and Gaethje took place in April 2018 and ended with Dustin's victory by technical knockout. In July of this year, Justin took revenge by scoring a knockout and winning the BMF (“Biggest Bastard”) belt.
