Johnson remembered the fight with Klitschko: “I asked to cancel the fight, I had an injury”

American boxer Kevin Johnson remembered his fight against Vitali Klitschko, which took place in December 2009.

“The fight was very easy. Each of you can go home and review it. Six weeks before the fight, I had an injury. I asked to cancel the fight. I was told that if I canceled the fight, they would take Shannon Briggs. It's simple math - take 1.8 million or be left with nothing. I decided: well, I will fight with one hand. If you saw the fight with Klitschko, I never hit with the right. Never!"
