Ennis knocked out Villa in the tenth round

Undefeated Interim IBF Welterweight Champion Jaron "Boots" Ennis (31-0, 28 KOs) scored an impressive stoppage victory over a staunch challenger Royman "Flaco de Oro" Villa (26-2, 24 KOs) in Saturday night's main event at Broadwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Before the fight, Ennis stated that Villa's style was perfect for him, and he turned out to be right in many ways. Ennis shocked Villa in the sixth round and then hit the pick every round until he knocked out Villa with a flurry of punches in the tenth round. Stop time 1:27. Villa showed a big heart and character, but Ennis was just on another level.
