Savannah Marshall (13-1, 10 KOs) in a viscous fight with an abundance of clinches won by a split decision Franchon Crus-Dezurn (8-2, 2 KOs) in the main event of the evening in Manchester and won WBA, WBO, WBC and IBF super middleweight titles. After ten rounds, the judges scored the meeting with a score of 99-91, 97-93 and 95-95.

The Briton dominated from the first gong, delivering accented blows from both hands. The American tried to attack, but was ineffective and chaotic. Marshall shocked her opponent several times, but in the end the fight went the full distance. Thus, Marshall became the world champion in her second weight class.

On the same evening Natasha Jonas (14-2-1, 9 KOs) defeated Kandy Wyatt (11-5, 3 KOs) by TKO in the eighth round to win the vacant IBF Welterweight World Championship. Jonas previously held three welterweight titles.
