Pacquiao gearing up for September return

Sean Gibbons, one of the managers Manny Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39 KOs), announced that the former eight-weight champion could have another professional fight in September.

The Filipino has resumed training and is seriously considering returning to the ring. The most likely scenario is Pacquiao vs. Conor Benn (21-0, 14 KOs), but before that, the Briton has yet to regain his boxing license in the UK, which was suspended after his positive doping tests.

"Pacman" did not box for almost two years, and in his last speech he lost on points to Yordenis Ugas. The Filipino recently lost in court to managing agency Paradigm Sports and must pay him over $8 million in total for breach of contract.
