American journalist Mike Coppinger reports that Terence Crawford (38-0, 29 KOs) and Errol Spence Jr. (28-0, 22 KOs) agreed to terms for a welterweight unification bout. The fight for the IBF, WBA, WBO and WBC belts will take place on July 29 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Negotiations on this fight have been going on for a long time. Until recently, Spence was scheduled to take on Keith Thurman at welterweight in the spring, while Crawford would defend his WBO belt against mandatory contender Alexis Rocha.

According to an ESPN correspondent, both boxers will earn at least $10 million for this fight. Both fighters will also have the right to activate a rematch clause in the event of a loss within 30 days of the fight.

The event will be shown in the United States on Showtime as a pay-per-view. In his last appearance in the ring, Crawford defeated David Avanesyan, and Spence won the unification match against Yordenis Ugas.
