It would make sense to hold the fight in the UK, but we are also thinking of organizing it in Poland, where many Ukrainians now live. We would have no problem selling the football stadium, and we also have support from the Minister of Sports of Poland,” Klimas said.
Usyk had to fight in Poland before. In September 2016, in Gdansk, he won his first title in professional boxing. As a mandatory contender for the WBO belt, the Ukrainian confidently defeated Krzysztof Głowacki and took away the belt in the first heavyweight from him.
