Linares warns Haney: 'Lomachenko is slowly killing you'

Venezuelan veteran Jorge Lineras convinced that the absolute world champion in lightweight Devin Haney don't expect an easy walk in combat against Vasily Lomachenko.

“Now we will see that the most important quality of Lomachenko is his experience, because he has talent. He is fast and, I think, more powerful than Haney. He is slowly killing you. I say this because I figured it out myself in a fight with him.

Haney has distance, he is young, bigger than Loma. But I think that in this fight everything depends on the plan. You have to get better and better to win. Strategy will be the fundamental key for Lomachenko and Haney to win this fight.

Loma looks good. He looks great. Although this is no longer the same Loma that I once fought. But you saw that he was fine in the fights with Nakatani and Ortiz. They were both good boxers," Linares told ES NEWS.
