May 8 marks exactly two years since Billy Joe Saunders (30-1, 14 KOs) lost Saul Alvarez. On this anniversary, the former world middleweight and super middleweight champion announced his return.

During the downtime, the Briton recovered greatly, he also had problems outside the ring, but he promises to pull himself together. According to Saunders, he has already returned to the gym, lost some weight and assures that over time he will again be able to meet the 76.2 kilogram limit.

Saunders has previously stated that Demetrius Andreid (32-0, 19 KOs) should become his dream opponent in the near future. “This year you will see me in the ring,” Saunders said in one of the social networks.
