Former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) was arrested in Los Angeles after a routine road check. The Bronze Bomber's Rolls-Royce windows were illegally tinted and its license plate was hidden. During the stop, the police smelled marijuana, so they decided to search the car.

During a search, marijuana and a 9mm pistol were found in the car. And it was for possession of the "hidden weapon" that Wilder was arrested. A few hours later, this morning, the athlete was released. The police claim that the former heavyweight king was calm and cooperated impeccably with the employees of their service.

According to preliminary data, Wilder should fight his next fight in December in a large-scale tournament in Saudi Arabia, where he can fight Anthony Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs) for a substantial fee.
