Ngannou is close to signing a contract with a new promotion
Leading American Journalist Ariel Helwani said that former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou could become a PFL fighter in the near future.
“Ngannou is close to making a new deal with another promotion. According to Francis, he spoke very frankly about this, his meeting with the head of ONE FC ended in a friendly atmosphere. They both came to the conclusion that since Ngannou had a verbal agreement with another league, he most likely would not go to ONE FC. Interestingly, when he was in my studio and we were talking about big promotions, I asked him about the PFL. After that, he really caught fire.
He is very close to signing a contract, it could happen this week. He told me that the deal would include both MMA and boxing,” Helwani said on his show The MMA Hour.
