Former World Light Heavyweight Champion Alexander Gvozdyk (18-1, 14 KOs) said that for him is one of the main motivations in sports.

“If I can represent my country in the international arena, it will draw the attention of more people to all the atrocities that the Russians are committing in my country. It is my goal to continue flying our banner around the world. For the last nine years, my family and I have been living in California, but my father is still in Ukraine. He's not going anywhere," Gvozdyk said in an interview for Bad Left Hook.

Recall that Gvozdyk will return to the ring on May 6 on the undercard of the confrontation between Saul Alvarez and John Ryder. The opponent of the Ukrainian will be the Latvian Richards Bolotniks.
