Pereira moves up to light heavyweight

Former UFC Middleweight Champion Alex Pereira announced a change in weight category.

“As promised, I am announcing big news. My next fight will be at light heavyweight. I did my job in the middleweight division, so now I want to move up to light heavyweight. I can’t name the next opponent, but I will keep you informed,” Pereira addressed the fans in an episode on his YouTube channel.

Recall that on April 9 at UFC 287, Pereira lost by knockout in rematch to Israel Adesanya and lost his championship belt.
