Martin Bakole (18-1, 13 KOs) is completing preparations for the performance at Knockout Boxing Night 27, which will take place on April 22 in Rzeszow, Poland. In his debut fight after signing a contract with the promotional organization Boxxer, the 29-year-old boxer will face the invincible "Ukrainian Hulk" Igor Shevadzutsky (10-0, 8 KOs).

“I don’t know much about him because I don’t watch the fights of my opponents. I only watch fragments of their fights because I am focused on myself. I will dictate the conditions in the ring, my tactics are always the same. I respect the Hulk because he dared to fight me. Many boxers lack this courage,” Bakole said.

The boxer, who lives in Scotland, ranks second in the WBA rankings, where Oleksandr Usyk is the super champion and Daniel Dubois holds the regular belt. In the ranking of the World Boxing Association, only Deontay Wilder is ahead of him.

“I'm going to Rzeszow because I can't afford such long breaks. I will win, and then I want to fight for the belt. I'm ready for everything. I want fights with Usyk or Dubois. Joe Joyce also has a belt, I'm ready to fight him. I have never refused anyone, everyone is avoiding me, ”added the boxer from the Congo.

“I hope that the WBA will finally appoint me as a contender for the title. Then there will be no escape route. Either you fight me or you give me the belt,” Bakole said.

The main event of the evening on April 22 in Poland will be the fight for the WBC belt in the bridge weight between Alain Babicz (11-0, 11 KOs) and Lukasz Ruzhansky (14-0, 13 KOs).
