Inactive for ten years David Tua (52-5-2, 43 KOs) will resume his sports career if there is a chance for him to fight with Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs). It was a dream fight in the 90s, so today there may be those who want to see two aging punchers in an exhibition fight against each other.
The famous "Tuaman" did not eventually become the world champion, but he had several champions in his track record - former or future. He knocked out, among others, John Ruiz (KO 1), Oleg Maskaev (TKO 11), Hasim Rahman (TKO 10) and Michael Moorer (KO 1). There were several attempts to bring him to the fight with "Iron" Mike, but all of them were unsuccessful.
“I don’t want to disrespect Tyson and challenge him to a fight because he is an icon of our sport. Surely everyone once wanted to see our duel and will be happy to finally see it. Together we would put on a good show, and I could come back for such a fight,” said 50-year-old Tua.
